Elijah won a poster award at the 2021 Virtual UF Drug Discovery Symposium and was runner-up for a presentation award for the 2021 UF Biology Department Undergraduate Symposium. Elijah's presentation was titled "Fungal toxin chaetocin strongly and specifically affects metal-responsive genes".
